Scrotal:

I really like my Pacific herd bull. He is a little taller than average animal but built thicker than most. It has showed up in not only his first but 2nd calf crop as well. Doesn't seem to matter, bulls or females they have his phenotype. R-629 has above average weaning and yearling weights. With a CED built for heifers. Ranks very high in his ability to convert feed to gain. Top 20% there along with having to consume less food to make that gain. Those numbers show up in his RADG and DMI epd's. Bulls weights were down a little this past year because of the dry conditions but the average bull calf weight for the 2025 season was a respectable 764 lb. without any creep! Which is down about 10 lbs. from last year. Of coarse every farm has different pasture. Most of ours is high ground with sandy loom soils. R-629's dam is an above average framed animal with a nice disposition.
