This guy was twin with R-452. He stayed on the dam while his brother went to a foster mom. Starting out at 67 lbs. it was an up hill battle but did well weaning off @ 747 lbs. Excellent calving ease for breeding those heifers. His sire produces some of the most docile cattle we've ever raised. His dam has just achieved pathfinder status with 3 calves ratioing 108. His granddam was an outstanding cow who stayed in the herd till she was 11 years old, with a life time weaning average of 9 @ 108. It will be noticable as you look through the pictures of our bulls that we do not take the time to groom the bulls. The wife and I are past retirement age so we've decided to let a few rainy days straighten out the hair. Then by April they will start to shedd and all will be right with the world.
